Title : Journey To The Centre Of The Sun
Format : 12" Vinyl & Digital
Released : March 01 2010
Prepare to enter the Sombrero Galaxy, the collab-orative effort from Jonny Nash and Tako Reyenga. Journey To The Centre Of The Sun is a dive into a moody, visceral, ethereal headspace brought to life through shimmering synthesizers, swirling guitars and chugging basslines coupled with live percussion, clearly setting the bar higher than the bulk of contemporary electronic music. On the B side, The Stallions (Lovefingers and Lee Douglas) reinterpret the track with optimism, complimenting the original with a light and cloudy yet driving house version. Artwork by Mario Hugo.
